Schluter profiles can be used for many different applications. They function as a protective barrier for the edge of a tile. I also personally love the unique look they add to a shower or backsplash. We use them to edge curbs, inset boxes, in doorways as thresholds, and they also have a whole line of expansion joints. They come in plastic or metal with a range of different finishes, shapes and sizes.
