A great tile guy thinks 10 steps ahead and twenty years down the road. While installing a bath tub in one of our latest bathroom remodels we installed a MagnaPanel which makes it possible to access the plumbing underneath the tub in case there are any plumbing issues down the road. This is a great example of a preventative measure we take in order to alleviate any issues in the future. This is also why we love Kerdi board. Schluter systems has come up with products that have so many uses during a tile project. After we have the panel in place, we set tile directly to the Kerdi board, grout the vertical joints, then caulk around it.
