Woodstock, GA custom shower builders who focus on the details — Hamilton Tile, Woodstock, GA

Why Hamilton Tile

Woodstock, GA custom shower builders who focus on the details

A custom shower build comes down to what happens behind the tile. Proper waterproofing, correctly sloped pans, tight grout lines around niches, and clean transitions at corners and door frames are what separate a shower that holds up from one that needs repairs in three years. With over 10 years of installation experience, Hamilton Tile, LLC treats those details as the core of the work, not an afterthought.

High-quality craftsmanship shows up in ways homeowners notice every day: lines that run straight across large-format tile, finishes that meet fixtures cleanly, and layouts sized to the actual dimensions of the space. Every shower is planned around how the room is used, the style of the home, and the materials that will stay low-maintenance over time.

Part of that process is practical guidance during selections. Some tile and material combinations look striking in a showroom but collect soap scum, scratch easily, or require sealing that most homeowners skip. Hamilton Tile, LLC helps clients understand those tradeoffs before anything is ordered, so the finished shower matches both their vision and their real daily routine.

Proper installation from the start
Waterproofing, slope, and substrate work are done correctly before a single tile goes up, because fixing those layers later means tearing everything out.
Craftsmanship in the small details
Straighter lines, cleaner cuts around niches and corners, and finishes that align with fixtures make the difference between a professional result and a rushed one.
Guidance that protects your investment
Over 10 years of project experience means spotting selections that cause maintenance headaches later, so clients make informed choices before materials are purchased.
Built around your space and routine
Custom layout planning fits the shower to your bathroom dimensions, storage needs, and daily habits rather than defaulting to a stock configuration.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

At Hamilton Tile, a custom shower remodel typically includes demolition of the old shower, waterproofing, tile installation, and the finishing details that make the space functional and easy to maintain. The exact scope depends on your bathroom layout and what needs to be replaced or upgraded, such as the pan, walls, niche, bench, or trim. We plan the shower as a complete system, not just the visible tile, so the finished result performs well over time.
Hamilton Tile can often remodel part of a shower if the structure and waterproofing are still in good condition, but we need to inspect the space first to know whether a partial update is safe. If the shower has moisture damage, failed grout, loose tile, or waterproofing problems, a larger rebuild may be the better long-term choice. Our approach is to recommend the smallest scope that still solves the real problem, not to push a full replacement when it is not needed.
At Hamilton Tile, we focus on waterproofing behind the tile, proper slope for drainage, and careful sealing at the joints and transitions. Those details matter more than the tile itself when it comes to preventing leaks and keeping maintenance manageable. We also pay attention to substrate preparation, because an uneven or weak base can shorten the life of the shower. A well-built custom shower should clean easily and hold up to daily use without constant repairs.
Hamilton Tile usually recommends tile when you want the most design flexibility and a fully customized look, while grout and waterproofing details matter most for long-term performance. Wall panels can be lower maintenance in some settings, but they do not offer the same range of patterns, sizes, and layout choices as tile. The best option depends on your budget, style goals, and how much upkeep you want. We help you compare those tradeoffs before construction starts.
Hamilton Tile custom shower timelines usually depend on the size of the shower, the condition of the existing space, and how much tile and waterproofing work is involved. A straightforward replacement can move faster than a full redesign that changes plumbing, layout, or framing. We review the site first so we can give you a realistic schedule instead of guessing. The biggest time factors are demolition, substrate preparation, waterproofing, tile setting, and cure time between steps.

What Our Customers Say

Real feedback from the customers we've worked with.

“We trust and recommend Hamilton Tile.”

Paul Reece

In our DIY home renovation days my wife and I tore out and replaced just about enough tile to resurface Texas. Okay... maybe Oklahoma. We know what demanding, precise, unforgiving labor this is. That's why at age 84 I wasn't about to start replacing the badly cracked porcelain in our four year old, 16-foot master bath with attached throne room. This was not just a matter of replacing some cracked tiles. We were sure to find trouble in the concrete slab under those tiles. We invited three contractors to assess and bid the job before choosing the one that knew the most about our potential problems and the available solutions to them. Jason and Ben demonstrated their knowledge, experience, and versatility in every phase of the week-long project, from the demolition and removal of the old floor while preserving and protecting the fragile surfaces abutting it, to assuring the integrity and stability of the slab, to installing an uncoupling membrane designed to reduce the transfer of stress factors from the slab to the beautiful new floor tiles they so artistically installed and finished. They kept me informed and discussed options throughout the many steps in the process... and didn't charge me any extra for my "help". We were impressed by Hamilton Tile's attention to detail in every aspect of the job and their care for every part of our home, from carpet protection to dust control to daily cleanup of the worksites. If you have a tiling project that needs and deserves absolutely top standards of professional planning and craftsman execution, we suggest you call the best we have ever seen on the job. We trust and recommend Hamilton Tile.

Finding Hamilton Tile was a God send. We are at the last couple weeks of our project. I had a bad experience with Keystone Remodeling. You can read it on their site. Here’s our progress so far with Jason and Ben. I like color and fun in our bathrooms.
